Over the years the Salmon Arm Model Railway Club has been very fortunate and proud to receive numerous awards. This is testament to the dedication of our past and present members, and to our commitent to the advancement of our hobby. We also take great pride in encouraging and welcoming new members of all skill levels to join and participate in our club activities, and to pass onto us the skills they have learned. It is never too late or we are never too old to embrace new ideas.

The Salmon Arm Model Railroad Association is a non-profit group dedicated to model railroading in all scales. We are located in the Shuswap in Salmon Arm British Columbia Canada. As of January 2010 the Salmon Arm Model Railroad Club became 100 % NMRA.

We provide our members with the opportunity to meet with fellow railway modelers, many of whom have home layouts, and may be working on their own individual projects ranging from small apartment layouts to large room filled railway empires.

After 7 years as Superintendent of the PNR 7th Div. Gary Hazell, One of the founding members of the "Salmon Arm Model Railroad Assn." stepped down. Russ Watson from Quesnel BC, pictured on the right, will be taking over. Gary also received three Certificates of Achievement Awards: Association Volunteert, Association Official, and Model Railroad Engineer - Electrical. Gary has served the PNR, in one way or another for the past 25 years. Congratulations, and all the best in the future to Gary and his wonderfull wire Donna.
